This album was created using nothing but original sounds from Habbo Hotel. Even though we can still listen to music inside the game, a few players must remember that once upon a time we could create our own tracks by using the Trax furniture.

You would open a music editor and import the sound samples from up to four sample collections (which you had to buy). Once your track was done, you could burn it to a cd and play it eternally on your room.

Eventually Habbo removed this feature from Trax...

Years later, while searching for these sounds (for some random reason), I came across an emulator called Habbo Trax Creator V9, programmed in C++ by this killerloader dude. You can learn more about it and download it in this link: forum.ragezone.com/f353/habbo-trax-creator-v9-1069291/

This album was created using only that emulator. You can use as many samples as you like from the collection (more than a hundred), but only on four tracks (that means only four samples can be played at once). It was funny to work with this limitation and to note how this same limitation is responsible for much of the caracteristics of "habbo music" from back in the days: lots of sudden changes and sudden voids, weird mixtures, etc...
